The Specialists is a historical superhero comic by Al Fukalek and Shawn Gustafson. The story, set in World War II, follows an American group of superhuman soldiers called the Specialists as they face their German counterparts, the Übermenschen.

Summary

In the middle of World War II, Nazi Germany deployed the Übermenschen, a group of deadly superhumans powered by a mysterious Orb. This threat allowed Germany to quickly dominate Europe, forcing the United States to respond with their own team, the Specialists, using the power of the atom. Their newest recruit, a genius Jewish teenager called Max Finkelstein, is about to learn why superheroes are best left to comic books.
